As a Warehouse Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production operations by providing direction and overseeing daily activities. Coaching, provide training for new employees, provides input for performance reviews and disciplinary issues. Communicate the status of the work to the Supervisor. Ensure that paperwork is accurate, and transactions are done on a timely basis. The Warehouse Lead will be moving, storing, and organizing materials and inventory within our facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure the smooth flow of goods through the production process.
Warehouse Lead Key Responsibilities- Lead employees -Provide direction, maintain work schedules, troubleshoot problems, assist the supervisor with employees and track goals to ensure goals are met.-Create and enter data into Excel spreadsheets. Keep records organized and current.- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload
- Assist in the efficient organization and storage of materials and supplies
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Warehouse Lead Qualifications- 2 year of experience of leadership background - Ability to work independently
- 6 months of Forklift Operator experience
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft office and excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
-Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. consistently
- Willingness to perform physical labor outdoors
