      The position of Warehouse Lead is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. The lead will help the department run smoothly and efficiently by reviewing all work done by other warehouse workers before the product leaves the facility. The pay range is $22.88-$28.50 per hour. 2:30pm -11pm Monday thru Friday.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Ensure facility, equipment, fleet upkeep and regular maintenance is set to a high standard.
      • Support and coordinate delivery activities.
      • Check all trucks leaving the facility to verify they are correct
      • Verify correct equipment handling (furnaces, condensers and coils)
      • Verify proper care and regular maintenance of the Loading Equipment (Forklifts, Wave-pickers, Pallet-jacks, etc.)
      • Verify completion of daily inspections on Loading Equipment
      • Accurately receives material coming into the facility and unloads trucks in a prompt manner.
      • Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing lists and purchase orders.
      • Receive all merchandise in a timely manner into the system.
      • Stocks materials on shelves in designated area.
      • Assembles and fills orders to be shipped from stock and places orders on pallets, shelves or Hercules trucks. Verifies quantities and items being shipped against the customer order ticket. Marks material with identifying information using appropriate method.
      • Ability to navigate and problem solve issues within the RFID warehouse management system and host order system.
      • Creates and maintains a safe work environment. The branch facility must be kept in a clean and organized manner so as to reduce or eliminate obstacles and thereby creating a safe and accident-free environment. The Warehouse Lead must be aware of and fully understand all safety rules and procedures as directed by the company. The Warehouse Lead ensures that all warehouse employees and drivers follow all safety rules and procedures and are properly trained to conduct their job in the safest manner possible. The Warehouse Lead will answer to the safety director regarding all aspects of the company safety program.
      • Ensures communication of and compliance with all company human resource policies and procedures.
      • Troubleshooting issues and following up with customers to ensure the correct merchandise is delivered on-time and to the correct location.
      • Assists customers in loading their orders.
      • Prepares parcels for shipping or mailing.
      • Keen attention to detail is required and ability to meet deadlines.
      • Excellent attendance record required.
      • Ability to work overtime as needed.
      • Ability to transport, gather, distribute and stock material in a safe, efficient, manner.
      • Other duties as assigned to keep warehouse organized and orderly at all times.

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • General knowledge of warehouse procedures and ability to operate material handling equipment in a safe manner.
      • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
      • Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.
      • Dependable to be relied on to get the job done.
      • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

      LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to write and read routine reports or job orders. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees within the organization. Ability to speak, read and hear English

      MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

      REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a documents and instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.

      ATTENDANCE DEMANDS: Attendance is required Monday through Friday within normal business hours as established by the Warehouse Supervisor. Employee may be required to work overtime.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to grasp and lift and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb and balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT:

      • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
      • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures. Employee would be working both inside and outside and on elevated balconies.
