      Warehouse Lead

      Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm w/overtime as needed

      General Purpose:

      We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations related to inbound and outbound shipments. This role is responsible for leading a team, ensuring accurate and timely shipping/receiving processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding safety and compliance standards.

      Responsibilities:

      • Oversee and coordinate all shipping and receiving operations within the warehouse.
      • Supervise and lead warehouse personnel, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
      • Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly documented, labeled, and inspected.
      • Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and reconciliations.
      • Verify the accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or other records.
      • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
      • Schedule pickups and deliveries with freight carriers and vendors.
      • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
      • Identify process improvements and implement best practices to increase productivity and accuracy.
      • Train new staff and ensure adherence to shipping and receiving protocols.
      • Communicate effectively with internal departments, including purchasing, production, and customer service.

      Essential Skills and Experience:

      • 2 years experience managing a team in a warehouse setting
      • People management experience required.
      • Computer literate, Oracle preferred
      • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
      • Must be able to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
      • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
      • High school diploma or GED.
