      Salary : £26,267 + 15% shift allowance (£3,940) – Total Salary £30,207

      We currently have the opportunity to recruit a Warehouse Team Members into our Tubes Operation in Corby, initially on a fixed term contract for a 6 month duration.

      We’re one of Europe’s leading pipe suppliers with a long and successful track record in the energy industry. Our products and services are specially packaged onsite to meet our client’s needs across a range of industries.

      This role sits within a team that operates 15 shifts over a 3 week pattern, 8 hour shifts:- Day shift: 7am-3pm, Back Shift: 3pm- 11pm, Night Shift: 11pm-7am.

      What you will do

      The role of Warehouse operative is to ensure material is despatched to requirements as safely and efficient as possible. There is also the requirement to ensure we move inbound into the Warehouse from all mills, working to the plans and within the scope of space/resource available.

      You’ll be working a variety of duties, which are rotated amongst the team each week, these can vary from:

      • Operating multi-directional vehicles to load and receive goods – both inbound and outbound
      • Operating remote cranes
      • General housekeeping duties - including stock takes, reporting any damaged goods, quality checks, following H&S guidelines at all times and using Forklift trucks to move goods.

      All training will be provided on the use of machinery as part of the role.

      What you will need

      As a warehouse operative, you will need to Demonstrate a flexible and open minded approach within the team whilst taking direction from the Team Leader in a positive and competent manner.

      We’d love to speak with you if you have previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, and although a FLT license if beneficial this is not a requirement.

      As part of the role you’ll be working with a wider team, but also need to be motivated to work alone, so we’re looking for people that take pride in their work and are happy to take a real hands on approach.
