  We supply great food to over 340 Iceland / Iceland Food Warehouse stores across the UK. As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll pick, pack, and check the quality of these ambient, chilled and frozen food items, ready for our drivers to deliver direct to store.

  Your journey will start with a full induction, exceptional accredited training and the support of our great learning & development team, alongside our supportive, experienced managers. There really will be no limit to your potential, almost 80% of our managers started as Operatives before being developed and promoted. There are plenty of opportunities for development and progression.

  To join us as primarily a Reach Truck Driver with warehouse Operative duties, an extensive Reach Truck Driver experience is preferred but we but will provide training help you be your best. Evidence of RTITB or ITSSAR Accredited Certification will be required. Importantly, you’ll have an eye for detail alongside the ability to communicate with a good standard of literacy. You’ll also need to be comfortable in cold temperatures (we’ll provide a free thermal uniform to keep you cosy & warm)

  We’re currently looking for Warehouse Operatives with Reach Truck experience to join our team on the following shift patterns:

  • ‘ Any 5 days out of 7’, rotating shift pattern, covering the hours of 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00
  • ‘Any 5 days out of 7’ fixed PM shift 14:00 to 22:00
  • ‘Any 5 days out of 7’ 10:00-18:00 and 18:00-02:00 Chill

  • An hourly rate from £13.29 on days, that’s a basic salary of £25,915.50 with the potential to earn £36,580 OTE
  • An hourly rate of £15.36 on nights, that’s a basic annual salary of £28,645.00 with the potential to earn £38,235 OTE

  What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • You’ll be working in ambient, chill and freezer chambers – full training and PPE provided!
  • Pick goods using a voice system and load them onto pallets and cages using LLOPs – full training will be provided
