This role needs to be present onsite at our warehouse location in Shiremanstown, PA.

      The Team Lead role is considered a safety-sensitive position and as such, falls within the parameters of VGM Fulfillment’s Drug-free Workplace Policy.


      Job Purpose Summary

      The team lead is the front-line support for employees and supervisors. The lead will support all the efforts in the warehouse and be the experts in operational standards. Team leads are also expected to be exemplary workers and be available to assist the team whenever possible.


      Working Hours: B2 - Monday - Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm


      Key Responsibilities :

      • Assist in annual reviews for employees
      • Assist in ADP timecard approval and PTO requests
      • Provide indirect supervision of employees and support supervisor in team member initiatives.
      • Evaluate needs of the team and communicate openly with the supervisor and manager.
      • Assist employees in all training efforts and handling overflow work.
      • Maintaining the quality station and accurately document.
      • Assist in making sure bulk orders get audited.
      • Handling all email communication that comes to the warehouse requests distro list
      • Communicate daily stats to the team.
      • Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support to the business.
      • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds.
      • Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management.
      • Be willing and adapt to change in order to support business objectives.
      • Demonstrate accurate verbal and written communication skills.
      • Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities.

      Key Qualifications :

      • Ability to consistently communicate with other VGMF and VGM Group personnel in person and via Microsoft Office 365 products.
      • Ability to enforce internal VGMF policies and VGM Group HR policies
      • Ability to develop, influence, and coach indirect reports
      • Ability to multitask and prioritize key warehouse initiatives
      • Cross trained in other areas of the warehouse
      • Thorough knowledge of AX and various other programs used by the team
      • Willing to work overtime if needed including a few Saturdays, or a couple hours during the week.

      Education :

      • High School diploma or GED

      Physical Requirements :

      • On feet for 75% of the workday
      • Ability to react quickly and move quickly to various locations throughout the building as needed by the operation
      • At least 50% of daily time dedicated to being “on the floor” available to assist associates and other personnel
