      Job Description

      Under designated supervision, performs a variety of clerical and manual duties related to receiving and processing merchandise and supplies, to include record keeping, document preparation and selecting storage/shelving locations in the facility or stockroom, as appropriate.

      Education: High school or equivalent. Experience: Six months progressively responsible general work, plus six months warehousing work or closely related work. Must possess the ability, knowledge and skill to operate/use the appropriate systems/software/hardware. May be required to possess a valid drivers license.

      Looking for someone that is available to work during Military Clothing Sales Store hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday-Saturday; Closed Sundays.
      MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, BE ABLE TO PASS FORKLIFT LICENSE PHYSICAL AND TEST. BENEFITS: VACATION/SICK LEAVE; OPTIONAL MEDICAL/DENTAL INSURANCE/LIFE INSURANCE; OPTIONAL 401K PLAN. COMPLETION OF HIGH SCHOOL

      Major Duties

      Ensures the proper receipt, verification and documentation of merchandise/supplies. As required, posts sell prices on documents. Records discrepancies or damaged shipments, initiates appropriate corrective action and completes necessary documentation.
      Signs receiving reports and other accountable documents and processes receipt through appropriate systems using a VDT/PC or other equipment.
      Processes damaged/defective merchandise returned for repair or replacement. Maintains records and takes follow-up action, as necessary.
      Completes various merchandising documents and reports, as required, either manually or by appropriate systems using VDT/PC or other equipment.
      As necessary, assembles and segregates merchandise (bicycles, grills, etc.) for delivery and prepares appropriate documentation.
      Assists in taking stock counts and official inventories.
      As required, may operate motor vehicles not to exceed 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. May operate forklift not to exceed 10,000 pounds lifting capacity.
      Maintains compliance with fire, safety, sanitation and security requirements within stockroom area. Actively communicates/promotes the benefits of the Military Star credit card to customers in order to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty. Performs other related duties as assigned.
