  Job Title: Warehouse Worker

  Job Description

  Join our dynamic team in the syrup flavoring plant as a Warehouse Worker for the 2nd Shift (1pm - 9:03pm). Engage in a variety of warehouse tasks, including operating a sit-down forklift, picking orders, and inspecting bottles for quality assurance. This role requires standing throughout the day and handling both glass and plastic bottles, with occasional lifting of boxes weighing up to 75 pounds.

  Responsibilities

  • Operate a sit-down forklift to move and organize inventory.
  • Pick and fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Inspect bottles to ensure correct labeling, proper capping, and absence of leaks.
  • Handle both glass and plastic bottles with care.
  • Lift and transport boxes containing full and empty bottles, up to 75 pounds.
  • Follow all warehouse GMPs and safety protocols diligently.
  • Supply own safety shoes and adhere to safety standards.

  Essential Skills

  • Proficient in operating a sit-down forklift.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
  • Experience in material handling and using RF scanners.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with stand-up forklifts is a plus.
  • Previous production or warehouse experience, preferably 2 years, though 1 year will be considered.
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
  • Spanish-speaking is acceptable, but not a requirement for conversion.

  Work Environment

  Work in a large facility with distinct warehouse and production areas. The production side operates with four lines, each with 4-10 employees, maintaining a room temperature environment. Safety gear, including hair and beard nets, as well as safety glasses, are required.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract position based out of San Leandro, CA.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
