      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Demonstrate integrity, transparency, and accountability in leadership roles
      - Ensure compliance with federal and state special education processes and timelines
      - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage a team of special education teachers
      - Oversee IEP development, diagnostic assessments, and annual/tri-annual reviews
      - Implement and maintain documentation systems for special education data

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Washington teacher certification in Special Education
      - Administration certification in either Special Education Administration or Principal
      - Minimum of five years teaching experience in Special Education
      - Demonstrated expertise in special education law and compliance
      - Excellent communication skills with diverse backgrounds

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience leading/supporting a Special Education Program
      - Experience being part of a leadership team
      - Strong technology skills in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and educational software
      - Ability to travel for key school events
      - Student- and family-focused approach with inclusive classroom environments
