What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage utility and pipeline projects, including client coordination and contract negotiation
- Supervise CAD designers and coordinate with other departments and agencies
- Oversee permit applications and facilitate the permitting process
- Conduct construction observations and prepare field reports on construction activities
- Communicate effectively with construction managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Professional Engineering License; FL PE preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and wastewater pipeline, pump station, hydraulic modeling, or treatment plant design
- Previous project management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant experience in Southwest Florida
- Minimum of 5 years of local experience in civil engineering of utility projects
