What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the in-house Corporate Communications team and agency partners
- Execute U.S.-focused corporate communications strategies, managing proactive storytelling and addressing critical issues
- Develop and manage executive thought-leadership appearances at major events
- Create compelling narratives that reinforce WEBTOON’s leadership in digital entertainment and storytelling innovation
- Build and nurture relationships with top U.S. journalists and media outlets to promote WEBTOON’s story
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years in Public Relations roles, with experience in public companies
- Proven ability in supporting Investor Relations functions and drafting key financial messaging
- Deep expertise managing corporate communications with U.S. national and financial press
- Strong strategic thinking skills to translate business needs into actionable PR strategies
- Exceptional writing, communication, and PR practice standards with strong attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience navigating communications related to regulatory bodies and complex legal matters
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Comfort with data and analytics to inform PR strategies and pitching approaches
- Calm under pressure with a proven track record in crisis management
- Strong negotiation skills and compelling communication abilities
