  Job Title: Web Application & SQL/Remedy Integration Specialist
  Location: Remote
  Rate: $65-$70/hr (W2)
  Duration: 3-6 Months (Contract)
  
  Overview:
  
  We are seeking a results-driven Remote Consultant to support the development of a web-based front-end application integrated with our SQL database, Remedy system, and other enterprise tools. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack developer with strong database and integration experience, capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Design and develop a user-friendly web interface connected to a backend SQL or Oracle database.
  • Automate SQL queries and ensure efficient data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Integrate with enterprise tools such as Remedy, Splunk, and DNS platforms using APIs or scripting.
  • Support data ingestion, organization, and retrieval within a scalable data lake environment.
  • Enable automated workflows and perform post-deployment asset health checks through custom scripts and tool integration.
  • Develop and maintain backend logic using Python, Java, PHP, and Unix shell scripting.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to gather business requirements and deliver intuitive solutions.
  • Manage system security, remote access, and ensure compliance with IT policies.
  • Document application architecture, integration methods, and tool configurations.
  
  Required Skills and Qualifications:
  
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Web development expertise: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (preferably React or similar).
  • Proficient in Java, PHP, Python, and Unix shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Remedy, including automation and integrations.
  • Solid understanding of REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with Splunk for log analysis and event correlation.
  • Working knowledge of DNS systems and integration best practices.
  • Experience building/managing data lakes (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Data Lake, Hadoop).
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and meet project deadlines.
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  • Background in infrastructure or IT service management.
  • Experience with asset lifecycle and change management processes.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and secure remote access environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
