      Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

      Pay Range: $25-30/hr DOE

      Job Description

      We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding sub frames together for cranes in our shop. This is a full-time position with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7am to 5pm, with most Fridays ending at 3:30pm.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform MIG welding on sub frames for cranes, ensuring high-quality welds and structural integrity.
      • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble and weld components.
      • Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting settings for optimal performance.
      • Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
      • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
      • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
      • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.

      Essential Skills

      • Proven experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
      • Proficiency in MIG welding techniques and the ability to produce high-quality welds.
      • Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
      • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
      • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
      • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.

We also cover 100% of insurance premiums (excluding dental/vision) with a $3500 deductible for single and $7500 for family plans.

      Work Environment

      The environment is clean but may be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. You will be working on light to heavy mechanical work as well as MIG welding and fabrication. This position may involve occasional customer interactions. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with the potential for permanent employment.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
