The Reward team, who are responsible for setting strategic reward design, job family structure and pay strategy; and
The ER team who supports managers and colleagues with issues linked to wellbeing e.g. safeguarding
Culture, Diversity and Wellbeing team, responsible for setting wellbeing strategy
Our mental health first aiders and colleague networks
People & Culture Director and People leadership team on benefits offering and service
Directors and leaders of the organisation
Manage the delivery of the Thrive@ofcom programme that supports a preventative approach to colleague health and wellbeing.
Provide day-to-day management of all employee benefits matters in Ofcom.
Provide subject matter expertise to support policy and project development, stakeholder engagement and communication.
Manage benefit suppliers, including contract renewals.
Manage annual colleague benefits selection.
Management of pension schemes.
Responsible for the Mental Health First Aider program
Use data and insight to prepare regular updates for senior stakeholders for example, Pensions Committee, Health & Safety Committee and Operations Board.
Develop and sustain strong stakeholder relationships with our Managers, Trade Union, Colleague Forum and Colleague Networks.
Ensure regular reporting of metrics, supporting continuous improvement and transparency
Take a structured approach to communication of our wellbeing offer. Taking responsibility for relevant designing and amending process maps as necessary and ensuring they are always up to date and available
Working with the Reward team, provide recommendations to Head of Reward, Head of People Operations, Head of Culture, Diversity and Wellbeing, P&T Director and P&T leadership team on benefits offering and service
Implement new projects as and when required, for example our proposed new Total Reward Statement
Strong systems capability, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt.
Attitude of continuous improvement, supportive and welcoming of change
Drive for high quality delivery
Microsoft Office skills at intermediate level
Working knowledge of wellbeing particularly those relating to promoting and sustaining mental, physical, financial, social, emotional health.
Working knowledge of employee benefits, including (but not exclusively) pensions, insurance schemes and wellbeing provision.
Strong understanding, or desire to develop knowledge, of payroll, tax and National Insurance where it relates to benefits
Experience of Workday and ServiceNow an advantage

Team and purpose of the Role
This role sits in our People team, a part of the wider Corporate Group at Ofcom.
The Wellbeing and Benefits Manager coordinates the delivery of high-quality wellbeing and employee benefits provision to colleagues in alignment with Ofcom’s people and organisational strategy.
Working with a Benefits Co-ordinator to ensure the administration of all aspects of the employee benefits and wellbeing provision. They also work closely with Reward, People Operations and Policy teams to ensure seamless colleague experience and shared knowledge. A summary of some of the key stakeholders includes:
