      Job Description:

      Collaboratively works closely with the Wellness Program Manager in the design, development, implementation, support business development, delivery, and evaluation of population health and wellness management product programs and services for all lines of business for SelectHealth.

      Job Essentials

      1. Collaboratively works with the Wellness Program Manager to develop, support, and implement population health and wellness strategies and initiatives, which support the acquisition and retention of Select Health business. Assists in the formulation of appropriate and measurable program objectives.
      2. Provides consultation to internal and external customers and stakeholders on health and wellness product services and program strategies to support employer wellness initiatives and objectives, which help build wellness as a business case, reduce health risk, enhance health status, and reduce medical expense. Provides analytical support in outcome measurement and evaluation of program initiatives through consultation with employers. Interprets results of program evaluations and infers implications for future program planning. Establishes effective consultative relationships with employer groups to assist in developing and improving healthy lifestyle plans.
      3. Under the direction of the Wellness Program Manager, represents Select Health on internal and external committees. Conducts training, presentations, and consultation on features, benefits, and value propositions of health and wellness product programs and services. May represent Select Health externally through papers, presentations, and conferences.
      4. Utilizes research and analysis of information related to health and wellness initiatives to ensure an appropriate level of understanding in order to achieve successful health and wellness product programs and services results. Interprets and integrates concepts, purposes, and theories of healthy lifestyles into programs and services. Through research, identifies possible affiliations and partnerships as necessary for program enhancement opportunities to improve the efficacy of health and wellness programs and services.
      5. Under the direction of the Wellness Program Manager, this position provides guidance and assists in steering health and wellness programs and services within interested employer groups.
      6. Collaborates to develop strategic direction of health and wellness initiatives directed toward employer groups, members, and the community. Participates in strategic communications and presentations to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
      7. Provides support for special projects and organizational initiatives under the direction of the Wellness Program Manager. May mentor junior team members as requested.

      Minimum Qualifications

      Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a health/wellness related area, which will be verified.

      Five years of professional experience designing, implementing, supporting business development, and coordinating population health and wellness management product programs and services.

      Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in word processing, database, spreadsheets and project software.
      - and -
      Ability to travel.

      Preferred Qualifications

      Master's degree in health related field obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.

      Certification in a health/wellness related area, (i.e., American College of Sports Medicine, Certified Health Education Specialist, Certified Wellness Coach, etc.)

      Two years of consulting or supporting the business development of population health and wellness programs and services.

      Knowledge of Select Health products and services.

      Data management and analysis skills.

      Strong project, workload, and time management skills including experience leading and managing short and long term projects.

      Excellent organizational, research, problem solving, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

      Strong skills in planning, detail and accuracy, creative thinking, written and interpersonal communication, and facilitative skills.
      - and -
      Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
      - and -
      Working knowledge of sources of health related information.

      The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

      $32.29 - $50.84
