- Plan, lead, support and participate in meaningful activities with residents and teammates.
- Provide supervision and consultation on Wellness principles and programs.
- Order, distribute and maintain a supply of recreational and diversional materials.
- Participates in the development of and monitors the budget for wellness programming and supplies.
- Provide education and support of all dimensions of wellness to team members of Porter Hills Village.
- Collaborate with residents to assess residents' interests and recommend opportunities for meaningful engagement.
- 2 years of experience in a social or recreation program, required.
- Bachelor's degree with education and/or experience in the aging process and health promotion, preferred.
- Qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional licensed by the state of Michigan, preferred.
- Proven ability to successfully implement appropriate and meaningful programming.
