      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Identify and develop new opportunities in the optical sensors and photodiodes, Laser Diodes and value-add PCBA, and flexible circuits
      - Manage and support current customer relationships in defense and aerospace, medical and life sciences, industrial, and automation industries
      - Travel throughout the Western US region
      - Build and maintain relationships with existing OEMs
      - Develop and manage sales activities in multiple industries

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree required; emphasis in Engineering or Physics preferred
      - 7+ years of high technology sales experience, preferably in the optoelectronics and photonics industries
      - Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
      - Strong problem-solving attitude and organizational skills
      - Ability to manage customer expectations and effectively communicate with the factory
      - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
      - Demonstrable track record of superior sales performance
      - Engineering or technical background

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience creating regional sales plans and forecasts
      - Extensive knowledge of regional markets in medical diagnostic and life sciences equipment, telecommunication, industrial and automation, defense and aerospace, OEM manufacturing, and laser manufacturing
