      Corporate Workplace Incident Management (WIM) is searching for a WIM Threat Manager to join the team. This individual contributor position reports to the Global WIM Manager supporting Worldwide Customer Service.
      The Threat Manager is responsible for managing physical security incidents involving inappropriate, abusive, or threatening behavior for the Worldwide Customer Service organization. The WIM Threat Manager will partner with cross-functional partners (Customer Service Leaders, Security Operations, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Legal) and other Amazon Security teams to manage the workplace incident. The WIM Threat Manager uses threat assessment and investigative techniques and technology to determine the incident severity level, facilitate incident management through multi-disciplinary teams, implements appropriate interventions, and provides recommendations to key stakeholders to for further risk mitigation. The WIM Threat Manager will occasionally support with developing or refining team policies or processes, developing and delivering training and awareness sessions, coaching or mentoring, and development of products, processes or resources for cross-functional partners.
      The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for independent and creative problem-solving; possesses strong analytical skills; works well within a team; requires minimal supervision; is an excellent oral and written communicator; has excellent decision-making skills; has a high-level of integrity and understands how to manage confidential information.


      Key job responsibilities
      • Review and assess reports of abuse, harassment and threats directed at Amazon team members, implement action plans to mitigate such behaviors, and identify trends and metrics driving root cause analysis and remediation.
      • Conduct threat assessments for internal and external threats, allegations of abuse, investigate workplace violence incidents, and investigate other types of workplace incidents.
      • Conduct interviews and meetings with victims, witnesses, and persons of interest.
      • Communicate effectively with victims and reporting parties, provide awareness of available support programs, and raise awareness within their designated area of responsibility.
      • Build collaborative cross-functional partnerships with Customer Service Leaders, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Legal, Security Operations, Investigations, and other cross-functional partners.
      • Manage multi-disciplinary teams during incident management that includes Customer Service Leaders, Security Operations, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Legal, Investigations and other teams.
      • Establish and maintain relationships with key regional stakeholders to ensure program activities and initiatives are compliant with business, industry and legal standards.
      • Organize, prioritize and investigate multiple incidents, as part of a caseload, with overlapping deadlines and priorities.
      • Participate and occasionally lead training, awareness, coaching, and mentoring sessions.
      • Collect, document and preserve video, images, documents, and other materials connected to threat assessments and/or workplace investigations.
      • Assess known and emerging risks and threats within EMEA that impact Amazon business operations.
      • Use software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat DC, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Bridge, Microsoft Word, Lenel, Microsoft Outlook, and a cloud-based case management system.

      London, GBR• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Human Resources, Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university.
      • 4+ Years’ experience in Incident Management, Threat Management, Corporate Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Crisis Management or related field that is closely related to conducting threat assessments, workplace investigations, and/or incident response.
      • Fundamental understanding and competency using concepts, principles, and methods related to threat management, workplace violence, security operations, risk management and investigations.
      • Communicate clearly, accurately in both written and spoken media.
      • Strong self-discipline and self-management skills, able to work effectively, and influence stakeholders
      • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple, competing deadlines, with great attention to detail.
      • Fundamental understanding and competency using physical security technology including CCTV, physical access control systems, case management systems, and other systems.
      • Possess highly developed written and verbal communication skills, clear and precise writing skills, and effective interpersonal skills.
      • Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Criminology Justice, Social Work, Human Resources, Psychology or related field from an accredited university.
      • 6+ Years’ experience in Incident Management, Threat Management, Corporate Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Crisis Management or related field that is closely related to conducting threat assessments, workplace investigations, and/or incident response.
      • Certified Threat Manager (CTM) from the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from ASIS, Inc.
      • Personal network of threat management or behavioral threat assessment industry/professional contacts.
      • Certified or familiar with WAVR-21, P.E.A.C.E or Cognitive-based interviewing, Cawood Assessment Grid for Violence, and/or other assessment or investigative techniques.
      • Secondary Language Skills: French, German, Italian, Spanish or other European language skills would be advantageous.
      • Experience working in Amazon proprietary systems.
