- Demonstrate a high standard of customer service and passion for the company
- Learn RMS program to operate register
- Offer recommendations and guidance to customers in need
- You will work closely with Gallo employees to develop working relationships
- Network with customers to learn about opportunities outside of the wine shop
- Communicate with others within the organization through phone and email
- You will be forklift certified to unload trucks and move inventory
- Build and securely wrap pallets of wine and merchandise
- Transfer pallets between warehouses and overhead storage
- Create thorough lists to stock inventory from warehouse to salesfloor
- Verify all SKUs are set up and active to be put on the salesfloor
- Upkeep shelves and case inventory
- Participate in Wine Pouring’s/Tastings
- Obtain Etips Certification & Food Handler’s Card
- Operate a manual pallet jack to push/pull up to 2500 lbs
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of experience in Retail Sales, Customer Service, Hospitality, or Merchandising OR Associates Degree plus 3 years of experience in Retail Sales, Customer Service, Hospitality, or Merchandising
- 21 years of age
- Required to lift and move up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Required to work weekends and overtime as needed. .
- Ability to use technology applicable to the position and access information to complete daily assignments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $18.13-$24.47 /hour
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
