  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Support the migration of AOML’s locally hosted website to AWS, including planning and executing cloud migration activities
  - Refactor and modernize legacy codebases for improved performance and security
  - Build and maintain WordPress themes and templates to ensure brand consistency
  - Develop and optimize AOML’s public-facing website to effectively communicate scientific information
  - Monitor and improve site health using analytics and performance tools
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited university
  - 7+ years of professional experience in web development or digital communications with significant coding responsibilities
  - Advanced proficiency with WordPress development, including custom themes and plugin configuration
  - Strong competency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern responsive practices
  - U.S. Citizen; must be able to obtain and maintain government Public Trust clearance
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud for creating and optimizing web assets
  - Familiarity with AWS services used in deployment and hosting
  - Knowledge of NOAA systems, services, research, and programs
  - Experience with data visualization tools for web-embedded graphics
  - Fellowship experience in relevant scientific or technology fields
