What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Greet library patrons and answer telephone calls, ensuring messages are transmitted appropriately
- Check library materials in and out to patrons
- Answer general information questions about library materials
- Load book trucks and shelve books
- Collect fines, copies, and replacement item fees
- Maintain order in the stacks and learn Library of Congress call numbers
- Assist with operating the copy machine and scanner

What is Required (Qualifications):

- Must be a CSU student
- Must be awarded Federal Work-study
- Computer skills are required
- Availability for some evening and weekend hours
- Strong communication and customer service skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Prior experience in a library or customer service role
