      Swiss Life in Zürich seeks an experienced Workday HCM Functional Lead with expertise primarily in Time Tracking & Absence. Other functional modules such as Performance, Talent or Benefits would be a plus. The role’s focus is to guide and oversee these systems' strategic optimization and integration within our HR operations. This role is crucial in leveraging Workday HCM functionalities to meet our organizational goals, enhance employee experiences, and ensure seamless HR processes.

      Your area of responsibility

      • Lead the strategic planning, further implementation, and ongoing optimization of Workday HCM modules, including Time Tracking & Absence, Performance, and Benefits, ensuring they align with Swiss Life's HR objectives and compliance requirements.
      • Serve as the subject matter expert across the specified Workday HCM modules, providing insights, best practices, and solutions to meet business needs.
      • Collaborate with HR, AMS, and other business stakeholders to define and implement system configurations, workflows, and processes that enhance operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
      • Conduct comprehensive needs analyses to identify system enhancements and integration opportunities, ensuring a holistic approach to HR technology utilization.
      • Manage the end-to-end process for system updates, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
      • Develop and deliver training programs tailored to different user groups, enhancing their ability to leverage Workday HCM functionalities effectively.
      • Stay abreast of the latest Workday features and industry trends, recommending strategic improvements to maintain and enhance system capabilities.

      Your strengths

      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
      • Workday HCM Pro certification, with specialized knowledge in Time Tracking & Absence, others considered beneficial
      • Proven track record of successful Workday HCM implementations and optimizations, with a comprehensive understanding of HR processes and regulations.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and drive process improvements.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across functions.
      • Fluent in English and German, with proficiency in additional languages considered a plus.
