What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the return-to-work process with all stakeholders to ensure associates return quickly and safely
- Review incident reports and ensure appropriate TPA adjuster is assigned
- Communicate with associates via phone and email within designated time frames
- Obtain associates' medical work status every 30 days and maintain tracking documentation
- Provide support throughout the life of the claim, answering questions in a timely manner
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- 1-3 years of experience in workers' compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions
- Health & Safety knowledge or a desire to learn the specifics
- Strong communication skills and empathy for associates' situations
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and remain agile
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a role that required coordination with third-party administrators (TPAs)
- Familiarity with risk reduction strategies in workers' compensation
- Experience in a customer service-oriented position
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to analyze claim trends and propose improvements
