What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assess potential liens and coordinate reimbursement from healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and attorneys
- Make outbound calls to communicate with healthcare providers, insurance adjusters, attorneys, and health plan members
- Respond to and submit requests for information and documentation related to healthcare recovery rights
- Apply knowledge of state and federal laws regarding healthcare recovery rights
- Negotiate resolutions of health plan reimbursement rights using guidelines and training
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Comfortable with a high volume of professional, unscripted outbound/inbound phone communications
- Experience negotiating and making quick decisions
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills along with high attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal certification/studies preferred, not required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with subrogation/lien resolution desired, not required
- Ability to type 35 WPM
