What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather claim information and submit claims to the Third-Party Administrator (TPA) in a timely manner
- Manage communication between parties involved in the claim
- Attend quarterly file review meetings and other claim meetings as required
- Run claim reports and conduct analysis for both internal and external parties as necessary
- Manage the pharmacy program and employee mileage reimbursement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a two-year Associates Degree
- Two years of claims handling experience, insurance experience, or other related job experience
- Knowledge of Basic claims or insurance knowledge, familiarity with State Workers Compensation regulations and HIPAA Regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in Workers Compensation claims processing
- Additional certifications in insurance or claims handling
