      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee the workers’ compensation claims process, ensuring compliance with Washington and Oregon laws
      - Collaborate with third-party administrators (TPA) and legal counsel on claims management and litigation
      - Analyze injury trends and costs, providing reports to Occupational/Safety departments
      - Manage the County’s ADA program, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
      - Develop and provide training for county employees on workers' compensation and ADA-related topics

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Washington State WWCP certification or ability to obtain within one year
      - Four (4) years of experience in workers’ compensation claims management or related fields
      - Extensive knowledge of Washington and Oregon workers’ compensation laws and ADA regulations
      - Strong analytical skills for data review and reporting
      - Effective communication skills, both oral and written

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with ergonomics and workplace safety initiatives
      - Background in training program development and delivery
      - Familiarity with HIPAA privacy requirements
      - Previous management experience with direct reports
      - Certification as a Washington Certified Claims Administrator
