What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide educational and support programs that enhance deployment and mission readiness for military families
- Conduct outreach efforts targeting at-risk groups, including first-term service members and socially isolated families
- Ensure deployment materials and services are appropriate and accessible to mobilized reservists and their families
- Facilitate training and workshops for Command Family Readiness Groups on various support topics
- Oversee the scheduling module in FFSMIS to account for all services delivered
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science or related behavioral science field, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of two years of experience managing or coordinating non-clinical educational social services programs
- Strong skills in making presentations and facilitating training for groups
- Excellent oral and written communication, assessment, and advocacy skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and familiarity with social services or education delivery systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with family programs or military or civilian social service agencies
- Personal experience as a military family member with an understanding of the military lifestyle
- Knowledge of the FFSMIS system is a plus
