Strong strategic engagement with National Offices and Regional Offices to understand, influence and be influenced by their strategic and operational direction.
Create and implement Country Engagement Plans between National Offices and WVUK to lay out agreed mutual support and outcomes required to deliver National Office objectives and deliver WVUK’s institutional funding acquisition strategy and income forecast.
Support the wider Portfolio Strategy Unit with the development and delivery of WVUK’s Institutional Funding Acquisition Strategy and funding forecasts
Support the National and Regional Offices to build relationships with in-country donors (in line with WVUK’s institutional funding acquisition strategy) to understand local funding strategies, priorities and to position WV well with the donor as a credible, donor-aligned agency.
Enable the National and Regional Offices to identify funding opportunities emerging from relevant in-country donors.
Identify, build and manage relationships with external organisations for each focus National Office so that partners are prepositioned when required for institutional funding applications. This will be conducted alongside the National Office teams.
Support the WVUK Senior Strategic Partnerships Directorate (SPD) Portfolio Lead to identify project opportunities with focus National Offices to be funded by UK private and corporate donors.

Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for an exceptional WV Partnership Relationship Lead, a pivotal role in executing WVUK's Institutional Funding strategy by fostering strong relationships with designated WV Regional and National Offices. The ideal candidate, will play a vital part in supporting national office strategies, collaborating closely with WVUK to optimise institutional donor engagement. Your responsibilities will include guiding national offices in cultivating connections with local donors for funding opportunities and facilitating partnerships with external entities to form robust consortia for funding applications. This role offers a unique chance to drive impactful collaborations and strategic alignment within a dynamic global context.

Support the delivery of sponsorship & Private Funded programmes
Essential Criteria:
· Proven understanding of development theory, policy and practice
· Experience of working in a cross-cultural context in a developing country
· Proven experience of influencing numerous stakeholders at multiple levels
· Proven success at portfolio management
· Experience of building and maintaining relationships with institutional donors
What We're Offering.
Salary: £36,576 per annum, depending on experience + a good range of other benefits.
Contract: Permanent, 36.5 hours per week.
Location: Milton Keynes/Hybrid (UK-based applicants only)
