Job Description

- Daily review of risk and PnL
- Execute cross asset transactions to hedge the portfolio
- Be at the forefront of macro and micro economic developments to keep a watch on the portfolio and update the group on relevant news
- Trade idea generation
- Price XVA on large or complex transactions and execute day 1 hedges
- Follow the trade onboarding through completion
- Work closely with Sales to meet clients’ needs
- Support senior traders through trade booking and trade reconciliation as well as ad hoc queries
- Fundamental credit analysis of counterparties
- Regular preparation and presentation of P&L performance and market update to the global group
- Develop new tools to improve efficiency
- You have relevant experience in financial industry, ideally trading experience
- You are an ambitious self-starter, able to perform in team environment, but also an independent thinker who is intellectually curious.
- You demonstrate product knowledge across variety of asset classes a plus (Credit, Rates, FX, Equity, Commodity)
- You demonstrate communication & organization skills with ability to network across different lines of businesses - effective partnership and collaboration is key for success in this role.
- You are familiar with coding languages and/or keen interest to further development this skill set.
- You demonstrate strong attention to details
We are looking to hire a cross asset trader to price and risk manage CVA and FVA based in Paris.
XVA Trading, part of the Macro & EM Credit Trading organization within the CIB, is responsible for managing the counterparty credit risk on the CIB’s balance sheet (CVA) as well as active management of funding risks in the derivative book (FVA). XVA Trading JPMSE is part of the global team with close links to teams based in London, New York and Singapore.
