- Is in charge of the Assigned territory and has the Territory Sales Manager reporting to him/her.
- Direct and administer the sales processes to increase profitability, revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Training and education department to develop quarterly clinical goals.
- Identify young talents from the market and nurture the existing sales team by leading and motivating them to achieve targets.
- Ability to take timely decisions, ensure performance and exceed the top line number.
- Ability to communicate customer needs, changes in the market, competitive landscapes, etc., create a sales strategy and take corrective steps periodically.
- To make sure the sales team is fully equipped with the necessary tools and resources they require.
- Ability to forecast the sales on individual and regional level.
- To create a demand for the products in the market.
- Work with National Sales Manager to put together annual budgets, cost control measures and forecast the sales growth plans for their territory.
- Ensure sales professionals of the team are fully trained and conversant with new and existing products and that customers get the best possible service and technical support for the usage of the products.
- Report all sales results and activities to the National Sales Manager so that an accurate and timely picture of the historic, current and projected sales status is available.
- Manage territory receivables and ensure timely payments from customers and also develop a good relationship with them and the key opinion leaders.
- Execute customer call frequency, call coverage, call reports, sales/receivables meetings, frequency of communication with supervisors/managers, travelling and entertaining expenses, expense reports, etc.
- Ensure that the sales team within his/her territory will conduct interactions with customers in a professional manner and in strict adherence to the Company’s guidelines and policies.
- 10-12 years’ work experience of sales in the medical device or dental industry.
- Graduate degree in dentistry, medicine, science or Engineering preferably with MBA.
- Knowledge of the market, strategic thinker and a prompt decision maker.
- Strong leadership skills and must have a proven record of managing and leading a team.
- Must be customer focused, passionate for result, coaching and developing others, strategic decision making.
