What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6-12 Business Development Managers (BDMs) to achieve regional sales targets
- Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with the company's overall business strategy
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with key decision-makers in healthcare organizations
- Negotiate and finalize business agreements and vendor partnerships to secure Hanger Clinic's role as a primary vendor
- Provide regular reports on performance, sales pipeline, and strategic initiatives for senior management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare sales, business development, or account management, with at least 5 years managing regional teams
- Valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within the employer's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy
- Proven success selling into hospitals, health systems, and enterprise-level accounts
- Ability to travel up to 50-60% as required to meet with clients and team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of the orthotics, prosthetics, and neuromuscular clinical care space
- Experience coaching a diverse sales team to implement targeted sales strategies
- Extensive experience with GPO agreements and effectively communicating the value of GPO partnerships
- Ability to design and implement scalable, data-driven processes that drive pipeline growth
- Experience creating proposals, responding to RFPs, and developing business reviews
