Santa Cruz METRO also operates the Amtrak Thruway Motorcoach Highway 17 Express service between Santa Cruz and San Jose Amtrak Station, thanks to a partnership with Amtrak California, Capitol Corridor, and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority.
