The Administrative Officer acts as a full partner with the Deputy Chief Engineer for the management and administration of the Facilities Management Service (FMS/Engineering). This position is located at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS), which is a major inpatient and outpatient healthcare system serving the Las Vegas metropolitan area.

Duties

This position serves as staff support to the Office of the Chief, both the Chief and Assistant Chief, Office of the Chief of Facilities Management Service (FMS/Engineering). The primary purpose of the position is to direct and perform all administrative functions that include the administration of human resource management, budget and finance management, program management, and document control management, not limited to: suspenses, medical center memorandums and policies, meeting minutes, and any internal and external communication to federal, state, and local agencies. Performs other related duties, as assigned by the Office of the Chief, Facilities Management Service (FMS/Engineering).
