Aventura at Oakwood Village is seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate Admissions Director to manage the admissions process and help create a smooth and welcoming transition for residents entering our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting families, coordinating admissions, and working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure an exceptional experience from the initial referral through admission.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage the admissions process from initial referral and inquiry through resident admission.
• Review referrals and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to determine admission appropriateness.
• Coordinate tours for prospective residents and their families.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and community partners.
• Ensure admission paperwork and required documentation are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate admissions records, reports, and tracking systems.
• Support census development and occupancy growth initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between referral sources, residents, families, and facility staff.
• Communicate admission decisions, updates, and next steps in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct consistent follow-up with prospective residents, families, and referral sources.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth transition into the facility.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, facility, and healthcare regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the admissions and transition process.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience in healthcare admissions, healthcare marketing, business development, customer service, or long-term care.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance processes preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
