Automation Engineer

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in test automation design, development, and execution. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript), Selenium, BDD/Cucumber, and API Automation to support end-to-end quality assurance initiatives across web applications and services. The role requires a hands-on automation professional who can build scalable test frameworks, improve test coverage, and collaborate effectively with development and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.

• Create and execute UI and API automation test cases.

• Develop robust automation solutions using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Build and maintain automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.

• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber and develop reusable test scenarios.

• Perform API testing and automation for RESTful services.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

• Participate in test strategy planning, test estimation, and release validation activities.

• Ensure automation suites are integrated into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
