Business Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau that effectively communicate insights and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Utilize Fivetran and dbt to collect, clean, and preprocess data from multiple sources
• Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt data transformation pipelines in Snowflake
• Monitor scheduled dbt, Tableau, and other application runs to ensure timely data availability throughout the Star Pipe environment
• Follow and maintain data governance standards, including naming conventions, version control (via Git), and CI/CD practices for dbt projects
• Convert raw, unstructured data into clean, structured datasets to drive advanced analytical insights and informed decision-making
• Drive data driven initiatives to improve efficiencies and business intelligence across the company

Knowledge / Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work across teams and collaborate between developers and end users
• Hands-on, working knowledge with SQL in a data analysis capacity
• Experience with Tableau or a similar data visualization tool
• Working knowledge of Git/GitHub
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with dbt or Snowflake is a plus

Education / Experience:

• 0-3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

Physical Demands

· The ability to sit for extended periods of time

· May require the ability to stand, walk, lift and carry objects, bend, crouch, crawl, and use hands from time to time
