About this job

Cloud Architect

The Opportunity:

Organizations everywhere are striving to harness the power of the cloud — but not all know how to do it well. As an experienced cloud architect, you understand how to translate cloud capabilities into mission‑ready solutions. In this role, you’ll lead a team of seasoned professionals and leverage modern enterprise cloud platforms to help clients modernize their IT environments and tackle their most critical challenges. Your work will directly support missions that protect citizens and strengthen national resilience.

You’ll collaborate across M365, Azure, GCP, AWS, and OCI environments to design and operationalize new cloud services. Within a DevOps-driven culture, you’ll expand your expertise by building and managing container platforms and using technologies like Kubernetes to advance the mission. With access to internal cloud labs, you’ll experiment, prototype, and explore innovative approaches to client needs — all while partnering with stakeholders and guiding your team to deliver well‑architected, secure, and scalable solutions.

Whether modernizing legacy systems or designing new platforms from the ground up, you’ll work with the latest technology and a talented team that shares your passion for innovation.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

  • 7+ years of experience delivering cloud services supporting production application tenants
  • 4+ years of experience collaborating with cloud engineering teams to architect and deliver cloud capabilities
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, security, high‑availability design, FinOps practices, and support models
  • Ability to independently identify, mitigate, and communicate risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Ability to produce and present materials at multiple levels of detail such as technical, PM, and executive or government oversight
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience supporting a multi-cloud environment
  • Experience supporting highly available, scalable operations in a mission production environment
  • Knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure architectures
