Customer Care Specialist
Pay: $20.00/hour
Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM EST
Location: Mesa, AZ 85201

Position Overview

The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for supporting the daily operations of assigned client programs by accurately processing requests, reviewing cases, maintaining records, and ensuring service expectations are met. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Learn and apply customer-specific business rules, policies, and applicable statutes.
• Process a high volume of customer and citizen requests accurately and within established SLAs.
• Review, update, and process cases using multiple internal platforms.
• Process delinquent cases, support service functions, and fulfill citizen requests while maintaining a high level of service.
• Maintain accurate records of actions taken, correspondence, services provided, and issues resolved.
• Investigate and resolve case-related issues while collaborating with internal teams as needed.
• Process internal operational requests and support change implementations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
• Meet or exceed quality, accuracy, productivity, and performance expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Drug and Background screening
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Finger Print screening
• 1+ years of data entry, administrative, processing, or customer support experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel).
• Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, problem solve, and recognize when escalation is needed.
• Ability to make sound decisions and accept/act upon constructive feedback.
• Professional communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
• Ability to work effectively and reliably in an office and/or remote environment.
