CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT

The Skydeck Chicago Greeter is responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience to all guests. Greeters serve as the first point of contact, assisting visitors with directions, ticketing information, and entry procedures while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.

Pay: $17.05 Hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Seasonal Position: Part-Time hours including weekends

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required and on-the-job training provided • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:
• One (1) year of prior customer service or similar experience preferred

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with a friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
• Provide directions and answer questions about Skydeck Chicago and the visitor experience.
• Assist guests with ticketing information, reservation times, and entry procedures.
• Direct guests to appropriate entrances, security checkpoints, and waiting areas.
• Help maintain organized lines and efficient guest flow.
• Monitor crowd levels and communicate congestion or operational concerns to supervisors.
• Assist guests with special accommodations and accessibility needs.
• Provide accurate information about wait times, ticket options, and available experiences.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with multiple departments.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
