Data Scientist

Title: Data Scientist
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months
Compensation: $70-80/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

What You'll Do
- Build and mature the data foundation behind support and integrity metrics, including LLM-based conversational data
- Develop new metrics and debug low-maturity ones (e.g., Task Completion Rate)
- Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of product and operational changes, including changes to the underlying data
- Build dashboards and the reporting infrastructure behind them
- Run root cause analyses (RCAs) on sales escalations and support trends, especially during peak season
- Prepare and present weekly and biweekly business reviews (e.g., CSAT drivers, what's working and what isn't) directly to director-level leadership
- Partner with engineering and product teams on fixes and new measurement needs, which shift week to week

Must-Haves
- Strong data foundation experience, including LLM-based conversational data and building/maturing metrics like Task Completion Rate
- Strong experimentation and experimental design background, including measuring impact when the underlying data is changing
- Hands-on dashboard development and the data modeling needed to support reporting
- Comfortable presenting findings to senior leadership
- Must be local to the New York area (no relocation)

- Trust and safety operations, business, or workflow experience
- Big tech experience
