Location

Pasadena, CA – candidates must be local – primarily remote – occasional meeting onsite

Duration

Contract to 12/2025; extensions likely

Pay Rate

$55/Hr. on W2 (some flex in rate for strong candidates)

Responsibilities

• Will be building web-based solutions
• Objective is to upgrade their Healthcare technology
• Fast moving migrations
• Working with more than one product but all products fall under pharmacy umbrella
• 50% Front End – 50% Back End - Developers do all work back to back so depending on the application there will mostly be equal mix of development

Required Skills

• Master's degree
• 8 – 10 years~ experience in Data Science and/or as a Data Scientist
• Must have healthcare experience (i.e. EPIC, Behavioral Health, Electronic Health Records, Medical Claims, Medical Coding-CPT, HCPCS, ICD, PCS, etc., CMS, other state healthcare data repositories-DMHC, DHCAI, HCUP/AHRQ, etc..
• Python and R
• SQL
• Experience creating and using advanced Machine Learning algorithms and statistics; regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, neural networks, etc.
• statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining,
