Location: Columbia, MO
Work Model: On-site
Schedule: Part-time (17.5 hours per week) during the Spring 2027 semester, with the opportunity to continue full-time through the summer

What will you do?

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budget analyses.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop presentations and reporting materials for business leaders and stakeholders.

Budgeting & Cost Management

  • Support budget planning, forecasting, and tracking processes.
  • Assist in monitoring departmental spending and cost performance.
  • Maintain financial models, dashboards, and forecasting tools.
  • Participate in cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.

Finance Administration

  • Maintain financial records and support data accuracy efforts.
  • Assist with invoice processing, purchase orders, and account reconciliations.
  • Support financial documentation, audit preparation, and compliance activities.
  • Help maintain financial systems and databases.

Business Partnership & Innovation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and operational performance.
  • Assist with special projects related to financial analysis and business improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in meetings to gain exposure to business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Explore opportunities to leverage AI tools, automation, and data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and enhance financial processes.

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
  • Preferred graduation timeframe aligns with sophomore or junior standing at the time of the internship.
