      Description

      Job Summary:

      The People Manager plays a critical role in supporting Barcel USA’s employee experience and workplace culture, supporting and enhancing human resources operations across key areas including compliance, labor relations, employee engagement, benefits administration, workplace safety, and policy enforcement. This role will serve as a trusted HR partner to leaders and employees, ensuring a compliant, safe, and engaging work environment that supports organizational goals and employee well-being.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
      • Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and resolution of grievances, while maintaining fairness and compliance.
      • Support and reinforce Barcel’s culture and values by promoting respectful behavior, positive team dynamics, and accountability.
      • Partner with leadership to manage performance issues and coach managers on corrective actions and documentation.
      • Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with business needs and labor regulations.
      • Analyze HR data and trends to identify issues and recommend solutions to improve employee experience.
      • Promote employee well-being and engagement through collaboration with internal stakeholders and ongoing feedback initiatives.
      • Support the coordination and communication of employee benefits programs. Serve as a liaison for employee questions and assist in implementing wellness initiatives that improve employee satisfaction.
      • Support adherence to company fleet policies and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
      • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and labor standards.

      Qualifications


      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
      • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background in employee relations and HR operations.
      • Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws, workplace compliance, and HR policy administration, and immigration laws.
      • Experience in employee relations, benefits support, and safety program coordination.
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
      • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
      • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or CPG environment is a plus.
