    • Assist with job postings, candidate screenings, and interview scheduling.
    • Support new employee onboarding and oversee completion of required paperwork.
    • Maintain applicant tracking and support recruitment efforts, including job fairs.

    • Supervise and provide guidance with the accuracy and up-to-date employee records in accordance with district policies and legal requirements.

    • Supervise and provide guidance with certification and credential tracking for employees.
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
    • Support the coordination of employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
    • Supervise and provide guidance regarding all position control, stipends, annual employee contracts, district wide personnel reports and other data management.
    • Assist with the preparation and distribution of HR communications.
    • Assist or support with training sessions and professional development activities as needed.
    • Analyze various reports (ex. turnover, exit survey) and new hire data to inform recruiting strategies and other data as requested.
    • Partner with administrators and HR staff to keep schools and other sites staffed by recruiting, employing, and retaining qualified educational instructors, administrators, and support staff.
    • Examine and track onboarding trends and data in the District in order to provide training and recommendations for improvement.
    • Respond to the needs and concerns of prospective candidate inquiries
    • Oversee and maintain pools of candidates for open positions and make available to hiring managers to assist in candidate selection.
    • Use traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, virtual job fairs, social media platforms, teacher job network platform etc., to identify and attract quality candidates for assigned area(s)
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Director or Executive Director.
    • Assist, develop and/or implement procedures to ensure that employees are informed of personnel policies, procedures, and programs that affect them.
    • Assist with the employee handbook as it is created and updated annually.
    • Work with others to compile and report projections of staff.
    • Implement the policies established by federal and state laws, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy in the area assigned.
    • Recruit, train, and supervise department staff and make sound recommendations relative to personnel placement, assignment, retention, discipline, and termination.
    • Evaluate job performance of department staff to ensure effectiveness.
    • Develop training options and improvement plans for department staff to ensure the department’s effective operation.
    • Ensure department operations contribute to the attainment of district goals and objectives.
    • Participate in professional development activities to maintain current knowledge of human resource rules, regulations, and practices.
    • Supervise personnel records management and oversee required state records management program (may serve as designated records management officer.)
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Support and align work with the mission, vision, and beliefs of the district.
    • Follow and support board policies in areas of related responsibility.
    • Ensure district resources are managed effectively to maximize resources for student learning.
    • Actively participate in ongoing development to improve work quality and district contribution.

      Primary Purpose:

      Assist with human resource functions to ensure effective and legally compliant HR practices. Support recruitment, employee onboarding, records management, data processes and other HR functions as needed while providing excellent service to district employees.
      Qualifications :

      Education/Certification :

      Experience in Human Resources preferred

      Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

      Special Knowledge/Skills :

      Basic knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations

      Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices

      Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

      Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

      Effective communication and interpersonal skills

      Ability to interpret, analyze and manage data for multiple departments/campuses

      Experience:
      Three years experience in Human Resources preferred

      Major Responsibilities and Duties:

      Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
      Maintain emotional control under stress. Occasional districtwide and statewide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. of recruiting materials.
