- Support of the Human Resources generalist team including project work around employee data management, assimilation, retention, diversity, etc.
- Assisting in creating and providing input on talent strategies, creation of content and materials for use by stakeholders in the business and within the HR team
- Creating, compiling and analyzing metrics and reports and creating presentations to visually display results.
- Help with a variety of site engagement activities including involvement with our Employee Resource Groups
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2024.
- Be majoring in or having majored in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, Psychology or related field of study.
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2024.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Demonstrated project management skills and/or event coordination experience (prior internship, classroom setting, extracurricular, volunteer capacity etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMs, etc.).
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
- Previous classroom or internship experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition or related discipline.
- Experience using Workday or similar HRIS systems
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment.

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Human Resources intern. This position is part of our Mission Systems Sector and will be located in Rolling Meadows, IL, a northwest suburb of Chicago with accessible transportation to and from the Metra train station.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Human Resources team working in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will provide general support of the human resources team on talent topics such as attraction, retention, and diversity & inclusion.

Salary Range: $1.00 - $1.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
