What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets related to potential merger and acquisition targets
- Develop and maintain financial models to support valuation and due diligence processes
- Create data visualizations and dashboards to present findings to senior management
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights
- Participate in market research to identify potential acquisition opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field
- GPA between 3.2 - 4.00 (Preferred 3.4 or above)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Python, or SAS
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous internship or academic project experience in data analysis
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions concepts is a plus
- Experience with SQL and database management
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
