What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer inbound 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and 211 contacts
- Conduct crisis de-escalation and safety planning for individuals in high-risk situations
- Provide appropriate social service referrals and advocate for clients when necessary
- Maintain accurate data in contact center database and use multiple contact center software
- Participate in training programs related to crisis intervention services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1 year experience in contact center, crisis hotline, or information and referral service
- Bilingual English - Spanish speaking preferred
- Ability to type 35 WPM and proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong communication skills and sensitivity to client needs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- AIRS or AAS certification preferred
- Experience with health and human services
- Ability to work in a high-paced contact center environment
