What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft responses to discovery demands and assist clients with related queries
- Review and serve responses to discovery demands
- Assist attorneys in preparing materials for trial, arbitration, or mediation
- Attend arbitrations, depositions, mediations, and trials with admitted attorneys
- Prepare briefs to assist clients in presenting cases in small claims court
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must hold a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree
- Juris Doctor (Required)
- Must be graduating from law school either Winter 2025 or Spring 2026
- Strong skills in evidence gathering, legal document preparation, and legal research
- Experience in litigation and mediation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous internships or clerkships in legal settings
- Familiarity with corporate law practices
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
