3PL Fulfillment Manager

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced, detailed oriented, highly autonomous problem solver to help oversee the fulfillment operations at our third party logistics (3PL) provider located in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will be located in Atlanta or will have the ability to travel there frequently. The 3PL Fulfillment Manager will oversee the external team responsible for managing Pura's order fulfillment at the 3PL fulfillment center. The 3PL Fulfillment Manager will work cross-functionally to enable alignment between inbound receipts from Pura's co-manufacturing partners, 3PL capacity throughput, customer order demand, and execution of accurate order fulfillment and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on fulfillment, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving operational challenges, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.

A Day in the Life of a 3PL Fulfillment Manager

• Daily management of 3PL partners performance against established KPI's and priorities (ex. inbound, outbound, returns, cycle counts, etc.)
• Track 3PL partners noncompliance, identify root cause, drive resolution, and drive proactive mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal teams on product launches & key promotional programs, to ensure successful execution by the 3PL.
• Perform operational audits at 3PL partners facilities.
• Work closely with B2B account management teams, inventory control, sales order administration, and accounting teams to ensure variances related to order issues are minimized.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills requirement with strong analytical abilities, at a minimum must be able to use VLOOKUP, SUMIF and create functional pivot tables.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Systems proficiency in navigating carrier websites, 3PL WMS, and Pura NetSuite.
• Effectively communicates with cross-functional partners (B2B account teams, inventory control, quality).
• Ability to prioritize and escalate bottlenecks for resolution.
• Expert systems knowledge of 3PL WMS and Pura NetSuite.
• Expert understanding of lead-times, time to inbound, retailer routing guides, and transportation trade-offs by account.
• General business acumen which includes familiarity logistics best practices, demonstrates a sound understanding of Pura's business model and trade-offs between subscriptions and B2b demand streams.
• Accountable for minimizing rollover orders, 3PL spend versus budget, facilitating chargebacks with co-manufacturer as necessary, and physical inventory and audit compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven track record of problem-solving and implementing process improvements in a logistics environment.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in 3PL fulfillment or warehouse management role.
• Robust experience in B2B fulfillment for major Retail clients such as Target, Walmart, Coctco, Amazon/Pattern, Ulta, Sephora, Dillard’s, Container Store, etc.
• Deep understanding of routing guides, routing guide compliance and the intricacies of perfect order execution for DTC versus B2B channels.
• Strong understanding of fulfillment processes, inventory management, and order processing.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
