What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments for individuals in crisis
- Respond to crisis contacts via chat/text to assess suicide risk and identify community resources
- Conduct follow-up calls for individuals deemed moderate to high risk for suicide
- Maintain compliance with ethical and clinical standards in line with accreditation
- Participate actively in supervision, training, and team meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, psychology, social work, or related field, or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
- Six months to one year of related crisis experience
- Effective communication skills through written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods
- Knowledge of suicide assessments and crisis intervention techniques
- Ability to demonstrate high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in providing service linkage and referrals for programs and community resources
- Familiarity with mental health crisis intervention practices
- Previous involvement in training or supervision in a crisis setting
